"I have been very fortunate to discover my passion so early in life and to have an understanding of my self-developed process I call BloodWorks™. I strive to present a skilled approach in my work that holds to traditional painting methods of powerful shading and various ranges of hue. Many have said that both my skill as a painter and my subject matter are quite impressive; however when one realizes that the hues, tones, and intricate details were painted using blood the paintings become sublime. I am certainly not the first artist to use blood as a medium to paint; nevertheless, I sense I am the first to utilize this medium with a higher level of skill. I do not rely on blood as my only defining feature. My work consists of a strong foundation of artistic principles that support the blood medium rather than the blood supporting itself.
